The one-time, federally funded California Mortgage Relief Program has awarded all homeowner grants and will not receive any more funding.

Also, the California Mortgage Relief Program has arranged for no-cost legal aid assistance for homeowners in need. Eligible homeowners have received grants up to $80,000 that never have to be paid back to help with missed mortgage payments, late property taxes, loan deferrals, partial claims, or other homeowner financial hardships.
